ABOUT US
Future Futsal offers training, matches, competitions, development programs and events all year round. Players of all ages and experience levels are welcome from juniors up to open mens/mixed/womens.
All training is conducted under the direction of FA Futsal Certified and Licenced coaches in a fun and productive environment. Led by AJ, we have since added coaches Ben, Chris and Andrew to our coaching ranks and Rod and Xanthe as our Competitions Coordinators.

We also collaborate with other clubs, schools and organisations to provide customised training and matches for players in both indoor and outdoor forms of the game.

We believe in performing at your best to reach your maximum potential.
​
That’s why we decided to launch Northern Rockets Futsal Club that caters to athletes of various ages to compete at elite level. Trials are conducted with a selection process to make representative teams to compete in elite competitions.

​Rodrigo involvement with Football Victoria started back in 2000, starting as referee (outdoor) then moving to futsal referee in 2002.
​
Refereeing in NPL and State leagues has been a great achievement in his refereeing career.
​
As a Futsal Referee has represented Victoria as referee and referee coach at FA Futsal Nationals, referee in F League, referee, coordinator and instructor in Victorian State Championships.
​
In 2024 he retired from Futsal Refereeing due to health issues and in 2025 he has picked up whistle and cards once again to continue refereeing in Victoria.
​
Now at Future Futsal he has embarked on helping younger players learning more about futsal and to hopefully get a few younger referees on board with Football Victoria.

​Chris began his futsal journey with Future Futsal in 2016, achieving early success by winning multiple tournaments in their under 10's and 12's teams.
​
Representing Victoria in many tournaments with Futsal Oz and Australian Futsal Association, which have played a huge part of the achievements playing futsal.
​
Later on transitioning to Football is currently playing for Northcote City FC in their seniors reserves as Captain of the team.
​
Chris has joined Future Futsal Coaching team to help mentoring our younger players in the game.
​
I have found that the time spent training in Futsal has help me in my development of my Football skills and which are showing during my matches at Northcote City FC.
